Libretto W100 Laptop Review
The all new Libretto W100 is a fantastic dual touchscreen laptop by Toshiba. It uses the Windows 7 operating system from Microsoft. The Libretto W100 seems to be a crossbreed between the laptop technology and the tablet functionality. This device has been introduced with the tag-line of “sub-notebooks” which features to be a compact version of the normal laptops, and its functionality all stuffed into it.
Each screen is a 7″ display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and are hinged in the middle. It can be used as a dual-display or as a normal laptop, with the bottom screen turning into a virtual keyboard.
The Libretto W100 Laptop impressively utilizes the touchscreen features of Windows 7, which enables the user to work on applications and drag them from one screen to another, along with inbetween screen menu navigation.
The Libretto W100 has a 2GB DDR3 RAM with an Intel U5400 processor. There is 64GB of storage, a 1 mega pixel HD webcam built in and a Micro SD card reader. There is Wi-Fi connectivity and optional 3G features. The battery life is only 3.5 hours but is a minor point when you have this sort of technology at your fingertips.
It certainly is an impressive and innovative gadget that offers you something that little bit different. It definately turns heads for all the right reasons. Certainly worth every penny, truly a great buy.
Libretto W100 SOLD OUT!
Unfortunately the W100 Laptop has proved to be very popular and has sold out very quickly. I'm not sure whether Toshiba are going to be bringing any more to the market later this year.
There was only a limited number of original stock to begin and all main suppliers of the W100 have sold out very fast. It definately proved to be a big hit with the majority of people out there, as it has certainly been getting fantastic reviews.
All I can say is, if you were really desperate for the Libretto W100 and weren't lucky enough to get one then your best bet is to keep looking around to see if any suppliers have managed to get more stock.
The problem with this is that everyone else will probably be doing the same thing and therefore it will be difficult to get one anyway! If I manage to discover suppliers with any stock left I shall be the first to let you know.
The only other option you have is to wait and see if Toshiba do bring any more to the market later in the year. It might be a case of back by popular demand!!
I would suggest having a look at some of the additional products below. They each have great reviews and are very popular...
